I would imagine that it is the adaptor that has problems with 1 gig cards like so many card readers also has trouble with one gig cards, I do not know how new these adaptors are, but if they have been made awhile, then that would more than support my reasoning, if these adaptors are something new on the market, then they should handle 1 gig cards, but I’m guessing these adaptors were developed and made before the 1 gig cards came out.
